ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) has scheduled a hearing for petitions that call for general elections to be held within 90 days and challenge the military trials of civilians. The hearing is set for October 23, with a three-member bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, and a five-member special bench, including Justice Ijazul Ahsan.
Supreme Court Bar Association and others have filed the petitions regarding general elections, while the military court trials are being challenged."
