Karachi: Section 144 has been imposed in District Central for one day due to political party protests. The imposition comes following a request from the SSP Central, which has been approved by the authorities.
The Commissioner of Karachi has officially issued the notification for the imposition of Section 144.
According to sources, a political protest is scheduled for tomorrow, organized by MQM Pakistan. In view of the potential law and order situation, the administration has decided to enforce Section 144 in the area to maintain peace and prevent any untoward incident.
