The Director General of Immigration and Passport has complied with an Islamabad High Court order by removing former human rights minister Shireen Mazari's name from the Passport Control List (PCL).
The court ruled in favor of Mazari's petition, deeming it unjust and unlawful to include her name on the PCL. In response to the court's decision, the Immigration Director General issued a memorandum to remove Mazari's name and was instructed to report to the Deputy Registrar within a week following the action.
