In Larkana, a police van belonging to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah's convoy overturned, resulting in the death of one policeman and serious injuries to six others.

The incident occurred at Otha Chowk while the police vehicle was part of Murad Ali Shah's protocol during his visit to Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto to pay respects at the Bhutto family mausoleum.

The van overturned due to speeding, causing the immediate death of a policeman, Waheed Ali Sial, and leaving six others, including an ASI, with severe injuries.

The injured, including ASI Ghulam Mustafa and Waqar Junejo, were promptly transported to the Trauma Centre in Larkana for medical treatment. Two of the injured officers are reported to be in critical condition due to severe head and chest injuries.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed his condolences over the tragic loss of the policeman and instructed health authorities to ensure that the injured officers receive the best possible medical care.
