The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on February 5 (Monday) across the province in observance of "Kashmir Solidarity Day," as per a report by private news channel.
As outlined in a notification by the provincial chief secretary, government offices and educational institutions will be shut on February 5 as a demonstration of solidarity with the residents of Kashmir, residing on both sides of the Line of Control and globally.
Notably, "Kashmir Solidarity Day" is slated to be observed nationwide to express support for the people of Kashmir. Throughout the country, rallies and public gatherings will take place to denounce the atrocities and severe human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir.
