Sindh govt job portal: How to explore latest job opportunities

KARACHI: The Sindh government has officially launched a job portal aimed at simplifying the process of finding employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors within the province. The initiative was inaugurated by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and key representatives from the business community.

The online platform, named ‘I Work for Sindh,’ is designed to offer a transparent, merit-based hiring process for job seekers. It aims to ensure equal access to employment opportunities across various sectors, including government and private enterprises. The portal will feature job positions ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 15, providing opportunities for a wide range of applicants, including professionals such as doctors and engineers.

One of the key highlights of the platform is that it follows a “first-come, first-served” approach to ensure fairness. Additionally, there are no application fees, and registration on the portal is free of charge. This ensures that individuals from various backgrounds can apply without financial barriers.

The Sindh government spokesperson emphasized that the portal is designed to match candidates with appropriate job positions based on their qualifications, offering a streamlined approach for both government and private sector roles. This initiative is part of the Sindh government’s ongoing efforts to enhance employment opportunities and promote transparency in the hiring process.
