On Thursday, the Sindh government announced winter vacations for both private and government schools, as well as other educational institutions across the province.
As per the notification issued by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department, the winter break is scheduled to begin from December 22nd and will continue until December 31st.
During this period, all public and private educational institutions in the province will be closed for winter vacations from December 22nd to December 31st.
The Sindh education secretary mentioned that the decision to declare vacations aligns with the Steering Committee's determination within the department.
Furthermore, Karachi schools are set to receive blue furniture.
Simultaneously, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) anticipates predominantly dry weather conditions in Karachi, Hyderabad, and across most areas of Sindh in the upcoming 48 hours.
As per the synoptic situation analysis, a continental air mass prevails across the majority of the country. Consequently, dry weather is forecasted for Sunday evening/night and the subsequent two days in most districts of Sindh, including Karachi and Hyderabad.
