Tragic Loss: Lieutenant Colonel, 3 soldiers martyred in KP operation

Four Pakistani Army soldiers, including Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider, valiantly sacrificed their lives during a fierce firefight with terrorists in the Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operation, led by Lieutenant Colonel Haider, was intelligence-based and took place in the Tirah area of the district. The ISPR reported that during the operation, the Pakistani troops, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider, effectively engaged the terrorists' location, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists and the injury of three others.

The soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty were identified as Naik Khushdil Khan, aged 31, from Lakki Marwat District; Naik Rafique Khan, aged 27, from Charsadda District; and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir, aged 33, from District Murree.

The ISPR also emphasized the unwavering determination of Pakistan's security forces to eradicate the threat of terrorism, with the sacrifices of their courageous soldiers serving to strengthen their resolve.

A sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorists in the area.
