Karachi is currently experiencing a bout of windy weather attributed to the influence of the westerly weather system.

Northeastern winds are sweeping across the city at speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour, with forecasts indicating a potential increase to 40KM per hour, as stated in the weather report.

These strong winds are anticipated to further decrease temperatures, with the prevailing cold wave likely to persist until tomorrow (Wednesday), according to meteorological predictions.

The minimum temperature recorded early this morning stood at 13 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Office has alerted that a new westerly wave is expected to approach Balochistan today, potentially affecting the province with gusty winds and rainfall.

Furthermore, another westerly weather system is slated to enter the country through Balochistan on March 9th. This upcoming westerly wave may impact Karachi and potentially extend to other parts of Sindh, as indicated by the Met Office.
